The Wreck Today: The vessel lies twisted in 60 feet of water. While her stern is almost turtled, much of the vessel is on its port side. Her large propeller and her engine are interesting to explore. To the south of the main structure, about midwreck, there is a large north/south timber section and a tree. A trademark of this site are the many huge timbers, undoubtedly from her cargo. One anchor was removed in 1985.
In recent years, the bow section has completely collapsed, leaving her bow stem carving a lonely figure out of the silt. The wreck continues to rapidly deteriorate. Care must be taken when diving this wreck! Frequent low visibility makes it possible to accidentally penetrate this aging shipwreck.
