The Wreck Today: The exact location of this wreck has eluded many searches. However in 2008, the wreck was located by Rob Ruetschle. For those who wan to find her, she should be 3 5/8 to 3 3/4 miles off Sandusky Bay. As she was cleared to a depth of 27 feet by contract with the Hydrographic Office in mid-November of 1922, and removed to low water datum in May of 1923, not much will remain.
Also, we believe she is in the dredge dumping ground and on a mud bottom. Put all of this together and she’s going to be difficult to find as she might be mostly buried so side scan would not readily reveal her location.
